Let’s face it, lets call it out here; Nova Scotia is a Monopsony. OK, yeah big word. What does it mean? It means there are many suppliers but only one buyer. In Nova Scotia, that’d be the government. As most are aware I am developing a media monitoring solution and have become increasingly interested in people’s discussions online and our competitor’s products. Monitoring the conversation relates to what we are doing with our MediaSphere360 product and as we look into the market further I wonder are some companies not monitoring the conversation? So this is a quick post this morning primarily motivated by the half wits running the City of Halifax. Again in the news is the story of another failed development bid for a project in the downtown core, with city councilors unable to approve anything but a lunch order.

The D250 Campaign, roughly a $9 Million spend by both federal and the NS Provincial Governments to get you to the polls? Seems that the campaign failed as the numbers were terrible this year. Maybe I missed something with the D250 campaign, What was the end goal?
