Companies sell PPC and SEO services all the time to companies that just are not ready to be investing in getting more traffic to their website.

So this is a quick post this morning primarily motivated by the half wits running the City of Halifax. Again in the news is the story of another failed development bid for a project in the downtown core, with city councilors unable to approve anything but a lunch order.

The Pomegranate Phone, A $300K Gamble
Looking at The Government of Nova Scotia’s Pomegranate Phone and I can only come up with “Interesting” to say the least. Actually I could say more regarding my initial thoughts… Once I heard what was spent numerous words were popping into my mind. So $300k get you a website and while the site is visually appealing I honestly believe there was a better use of $300,000 in tax payer money. This flashy, bloated waste is novel at best and primarily highlights the flash skills of a local designer.

User Feedback, Fact or Fiction?
I have been giving this topic some thought lately and wonder what value can be associated with user feedback on websites, blogs etc? While feedback is valuable to a business, their growth and ensuring a level of customer service. One problem, An issue that will always be present and that is essentially trolls.
